Looks like it to me although mine is usually taller.

That is what was confusing me, oursteelers. I thought bonariensis would be taller than what I have, although the ones growing through other plants are getting much taller than those in the front of the border.

After looking at pictures of rigida, I believe that’s what it is, Jeb. Yesterday, a hummingbird was loving on them and today, there was a butterfly hanging out.

Yes, Verbena rigida: well known for spreading quickly and aggressively via vigorous rhizomes (especially in warmer areas).

Def. doesn't look anything like the Verbena bonariensis I know...
