I live in Central Ohio and it hasn't been warm enough until the last 4 days. Just last Monday- Wed it was 40s- low 50s F days and dipping into the 30s at night. Did you put them out too soon? Did they get too much sun at first? Seems like you stressed them out, but they will still grow.

Besides the air temp being low the ground/soil temp is also important to consider. I use my compost thermometer to take soil temp before planting summer crops, at least 55F or higher works here (Va). Otherwise I'm not sure what may have caused those leaf problems?

I have them in cold frames and I planted almost 30. 27 are perfectly fine and right next to these.

It looks like fungus or leaf miner.

Also cold frame was heated when needed.

It's probably not an insect pest but the leaf appearance is close to resembling flea beetle or spider mite damage. Doubtful.

Thanks! I am going to look close and hit them with sevin. I used Daconil fungicide yesterday.
