If it is new probably not going to get much help. .You need to gat a smaple and remember it is man made fake plastic so can vary a lot from slab to slab sorry but I never understand this as a choice in a kitchen where hot pots are the norm There are tons of real stones with the colors you are looking for

I don't have it but looked it up and it looks gorgeous!  MSI's website said the primary color is cream with brown accent so I wouldn't think it would run grey.  Of course you never really know until you see it IRL

I love it but in many lights it leans cool like a smoky grey white

We recently refaced our cabinets to Sherwin Williams Alabaster. It is a creamier, warm white compared to the “t-shirt” white often seen. We are now looking to replace our countertop & are deciding between MSI’s Lumataj quartz & their Cashmere Taj quartz. Both have exactly the same colors in it. The only difference I can see is that Lumataj seems to have more linear veining in it. We have dark Walnut LVP flooring. I find the quartz choices I have mentioned to be a bit warmer w/ever so slight brownish/grey veins-variation. I think the Lumataj will look nice w/your other choices. I do agree that it might be best to pick all the same cabinet color, unless you have an island that you would do a different color. I would not choose 1 color for top cabinets & another for bottom.

Only had it for a month. IMO any Quartz will stain if it’s not taken care of 👍

We are using a herringbone patterned Pallisandro marble. In the middle of installing. Will post pics once done this weekend 👍

Hi Eddie! Would love to see pictures if possible. We are building a house and originally had taj quartzite but the price tag is double. Deciding whether we want to keep or change to lumataj quartz!

I, too, am considering quartz Lumataj. I have cream cabinets and dark wood trim around doors and windows. Does Lumataj have brown veining? Or is it more grey toned?

The color Lumataj is kind of deceiving. You really need to look at it in person. The pictures from the original project on this thread seem to be pretty accurate. The slab has some larger veining that’s beige in color I will attach a couple pictures I took of it at the slab warehouse, which didn’t have the best lighting. Definitely take your time choosing your countertop material. It’s quite the investment.

Thank you. I've been to the warehouse several times and agree that in their lighting it is difficult to determine the colors and how it will look in a home. Was hoping that someone could share their thoughts after installation. I need the warm light brown tone to go with everything else but some pics look more grey.

Two things for 2 seperate posts..........

1st. Rebecca in my opinion you made the right choice! Lumitaj would have been too light.

2nd. gmhighly I think you should go with a natural Quartzite Taj Mahal. The ones I've seen are creamier and lighter than the Lumitaj.

Late to this but we are considering Lumitaj and cashmere Taj. Any photos of finished projects appreciated! The off white creamy cabinet color might be SHerwin Willimans Shoji white but when I put quartz sample near it am worried the cabinets will cast yellow?

I’m chose SW Greek Villa for my new cabinets in my small kitchen. We moved into a warm oak flooring with a gray streak. I need to keep this remodel on the warm side because of the flooring it’s throughout my home.
Looking at Lumataj for my counters….since the kitchen is small a lighter color will show everything. Has anyone used this combination?
Also using aged brass fixtures.

Did anybody purchase the Lumataj Quartz by MSI @ Home Depot who may recall which group letter its in? I cant seem to easily find the answer on their site. Thanks!

What countertops would you suggest that are creamy with brown tones?

I had Lumataj quartz installed in our kitchen in November 2024. I had my eye on this color for over a year before installing but I kept coming back to it after considering others. I wanted something timeless with crème, light brown/tan veining vs a flatter white quartz with grey veining. This countertop delivers! Pic may seem as though veining is grey but it is NOT. The wonderful thing about Lumataj is that it picks up the tones it is paired with. I have dark Walnut LVP flooring & Alabaster by Sherwin Williams painted cabinets. I have seen it paired a/wood cabinets & looks equally lovely.

Thank you everyone for posting your photos. It really helps to see installed photos vs. just a small sample or singular slab at the warehouse. I'm deciding between Lumataj and Aurataj for a remodel that is using rift white oak bathroom cabinets. My cabinets are a little more warmer/amber than the rift that looks raw/bleached or has white in so I'm struggling to figure out which to pick. Has anyone had experience with Aurataj? The Lumataj sample that I received looks nothing like the large slab because my sample had very little of the brown veins that run through Lumataj and none of the wider veins. The slabs in my showroom are very true to what Eddie has kindly shown in his photos. My Aurataj sample however looks exactly like the large slab but was wondering if it runs too peachy once installed. Of the two, Aurataj feels warmer to me and looks more subtle but I wasn't sure if it ends up looking peachy once installed. Thank you again for everyone's posts and photos.

I have Everygreen Fog (SW) cabinets with gold hardware) and getting new countertops and LOVE the Taj quartzite BUT can save several thousand with quartz lumaTaj or Cashmere Taj. i will be going to check it out but any thoughts? I have several remodeling projects coming up and need to mindful of costs. I also plan to sell in the next 5-8 years, if this was my forever home I'd go with Taj quartzite and splurge but...
