Quick question- this isn’t an authentic mask from Broadway, is it? Or some other wonderful provenance? Just checking…. If it is of value, then you’d want to investigate archival methods of mounting.

I don’t know. I got it from a neighbor that was leaving the building. If I have to guess I will say it’s not. Just a replica but won’t have a way to know… seems well done though

I would look at a shadow box and thta is going to a really good picture frame company that does framing for artists. If you must keep the backboard then IMO black is the color to paint it . I would look for nice plexi shadow box .
