I rarely write anything from my phone. For this site I will take photos with my phone and then transfer them to my Photo Program on my Big Mac. Then I move then to the desktop and then they can be downloaded to this site. It's a lot more work, but it works for me.

The phone app is just wonky, period. I only use it when away from my laptop and I'm bored (like on the ferry), so I'll read but never post myself. Any photos, I download from my phone to laptop and any comments or photos I have to add to a discussion come only from it. I never have issues posting pics.

I'm on my tablet, using a browser. Works fine. Should work on a phone, too.

Same here - no app. What kind of phone is it? I have Android, and on my phone, I switch to the desktop version of the site from a menu of options which is accessed by clicking the 3 vertical dots at the upper right of the screen. That version has the buttons under the reply box for adding photos, videos, etc.

If I don't use Autofill, nothing shows up - the words disappear as soon as I finish typing them.

What kind of phone do you have?

Do you use the houzz app?

If not, what browser is on your phone? Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc?

If you stick with the thread we can walk you through it. step by step. I don't have the app, but I'm sure someone who has it (if that's what you use) will speak up.

How are you posting here? From a laptop or computer or your phone?

I don’t use the app either. I go to gardenweb.com via my browser. The photos are very easy to attach without any fancy steps. I prefer the iPad to the iPhone just for the size of the keyboard.

Get the Brave browser app. It works really well with GW. (Any browser should work, but it's the one I like best.)

Put this in the location (URL) box: gardenweb.com/discussions/cooking

Press ENTER (or submit or go or CR whatever your button says)
