I think it’s a good-looking house! I like Mansard roofs, very European. :)

What is the exterior? Is it white painted brick? Can you show a closer picture?

My ideas are to change the front door color, maybe shutters, maybe landscaping updates. It’s just hard to see how it looks from this distance.

I’d do something different with the front path. That’s what really sticks out to me, and not in a good way. Maybe the colors could be changed? Brick dye? Or something that would tie it into the house better.

If the exterior features are in good condition, I’d just work on the inside for now, live with the outside a while, see how you’d like to proceed.

With your darker roof, the front door could be painted a charcoal or black.

The exterior is not terrible, just not striking.

Landscaping under the trees could be improved upon.

The powder blue paint color with the blue/gray shutters makes the house look fuzzy in appearance. Not crisp.

There is NOTHING dated about that house. It's classic, unlike so much of what's being built nowadays.
