I paid $90 for exterior design and received the 2nd and 3rd photo. Please tell me there is a better service for the same price or less that I can seek for a much better result I’m desperate for help.

What are you trying to accomplish? Many people here give help for free, but will want to know your goals.

Thank you I am new. I don’t want to paint the brick. I want this to look prettier. Modern. Trendy. I had to relocate for work and this was all that was available in this town. I can add shutters, change the gutters, add columns, paint job, add materials such as slate panels etc.

Post a picture from the street. I would move the driveway to the right and have a walk from the street to the front door. Change the door style. Paint all the trim bronze. Then go to a local nursery and work with their design person and get a landscaping plan made.

I don't care for the designs you paid for, no need to add those wood elements. Good Luck

Hmm don’t think your $90 got you too much inspiration! Would avoid the corner pieces on the verandah unless it was done in a modern farmhouse manner -a simple strut across the corner, definitely not anything in the Victorian or historical style. You could go a classic white and red brick scheme - white shutters with another post or two on the verandah. Some hanging baskets of colour (pansies) which could extend across the whole front at the same level?
Define the drive a bit more, some garden edging down the sides to show a clear parking space and maybe add some more gravel. A strong sold mailbox with a garden surrounding it.

What is the budget? Inexpensive ideas include a large, pretty rug on the porch along with seating and painting the front door. Add a big piece of slate to the ground in front of the door to emphasize the entry. Put the planter with some flowers next to the door. Bright lighting and bigger house numbers next to the door.

It’s not a bad looking house, as it is. I would paint the front door (you can upload pic of your house onto a paint company website and try different colors- for door and trim).

I would put most of my budget into landscaping. That’s what will make the biggest improvement. Post this on the landscape forum, too

As others have suggested, a new door, some type of improved driveway (new gravel or paved) and landscaping with regionally appropriate plantings. I don't see exterior lighting, but some kind of porch light or a pole light near where you'll be parking. No need to add slat walls or shutters or porch post embellishments (those don't look right on your house in the mock ups) other than more prominent house numbers.

I don't have mock-up skills so will describe: Look at the very last pic you were sent. See how the back wall of the porch has slatted wood all the way across? I'd do that treatment on both porch walls, back and side. That gives enough of a 'trendy modern' look. Paint the door a brighter color. Add square columns on each front side of the porch to define it (don't add the topper piece). Don't add shutters. Add big house numbers and entry lamp. Upgrade the driveway and front walk; add foundation landscaping and a small tree in the yard.

    Lots of potential here!

You need landscaping, an exterior light, a new color for the door (or a different door) and some porch furniture with a colorful cute rug.

The bare periphery makes the house look like it was plunked down on some grass and left there. Fix the driveway and have nice bricks as a deliberate walkway to the front door.

Bushes around the house (choose some flowering ones like azaleas which are low and rhododendrons which grow high ) plus a nicer driveway will be a better use of your money. This house had tremendous cuteness potential. Leave the brick alone.

The house has a simple classic design. Add shutters, driveway, landscaping. In the meantime, add some bright petunias to the pot with the green plant and move it to the porch, so it welcomes you when drive up.

I like this color with your brick. Reminds me a bit of your house with nice, but unfussy landscaping

. If you want more living space in the front, something like this could work. Notice the door color.

    Or this:

    Or this:

The landscaping isn’t great, but something like this for your driveway:

    Another simple lanscape idea

Oops one more. This is a great color with brick, as is a dark charcoal

Oh my. You did not get much for your money. I wouldnt use either of the plans anyway. What your house needs the most, is the drive way squared off, where you pull in, so it isnt partly grass, and a considerable amount of landscaping. The house itself is fine, its the surroundings, that need work. A couple of chairs with color, and a table, and some small rugs, would also add a lot to your front porch.

Sorry for your disappointment. Many online design services are disappointing! I don’t think your house itself needs much. I would focus more on the landscaping. As others have mentioned a new front door would be nice, but that can be expensive. Painting it might be a good temporary solution. Many colors look good with red brick: blues and greens almost always work, as does black. You don’t need a lot of plants - hopefully one of the mock-up artists will jump in and give you some ideas. Is it possible to move the driveway to end at the side of the house instead of running right up to the front door? I think that would be nicer. Define the driveway with edging material. I see you have flood lights, but a nice porch light or coach light could also add interest.
