Please help me with kitchen counter- Calacatta Laza from MSI

Out of the few options that our builder gave us for kitchen counters, the calacatta Laza is the one that my husband likes the best. I am very bad at visualizing things, specially when all I see is an entire slab under a very white light and the sample I got was so tiny. My husband keeps reassuring that is a nice one.

Have any of you used the Laza? Would you consider this a too bold counter or too busy? thanks for any comment.

Templating involves determining the sizes of the pieces for your counter and island. Then laying those out on the slab or slabs you'll be using. When you have a large pattern, like your picture, this can make a big difference. Any corners in the counter runs are especially important. Don't neglect thinking about this. You're going to see this for a long time. You may also want to think about using this material as your backsplash. In which case the cut layout is even more important. You can take pictures of the slabs and have 11x14 prints made at Walmart for a few dollars. You can cut them up or draw on them to develop a look you like. This can be transferred to the slabs with tape. Communication with the fabricator is important for you to get the product you'll be happy with. Check the work before it leaves the shop.

It is midrange. I prefer lighter. I have Silestone Calcutta Gold.

But, I think will be fine.

Please get involved in the templating. You should have input in how it will be divided.

You don't want a vein to be cut off at a seam and then not continued.

Thanks for the advice! Dont think we will need a seam but will keep this in mind!

Hard to know whether this is a good choice for you without knowing what you have for cabinets and flooring.

Cabinets are SW Pure White. Island is SW iron ore , flooring is light/ medium brown- white oak hardwood. Thanks

The the idea of the reproduction of a slab picture to a larger scale is brilliant! FexEx should be able to print that as well.
