What color pillows?

I am in the process of redecorating my bedroom and I am almost done. Just waiting for my rug to come and neeed to buy some pillows. I want 3 large pillows rp go behind the two small grey pillows which are pictured. I want the color of the pillows to make the room look less white and grey but also very Calming. I would like to match my picture I just bought. My options for the solid color pillows are teal, pale blue, or blue gray.

Your room looks good, it just needs some finishing touches. I would do a burlap color pillow with lots of texture. Pick a shade that works with your wood tones. I would add some more texture with a throw for the end of your bed in one of your color choices.

@deegw. I don't like the burlap. I'm interested in some sort of shade of blue it's a coastal bedroom

I appreciate your thanks for my input, online searching, and loading pictures for you!

As I mentioned, I was trying to give the bedding choices a hint of the wood tone color in your room to help tie everything together visually.

The pillows I screenshotted from A come in other colors as well. Have a great evening.

@deegw I appreciate your input very much and the effort you put into to help me. I am sorry If my comment came off rude and not as intended. I have gave it a second thought and I really do like the burlap. Do you think the blue will look too washed out. What if I combined the blue and burlap? What shade of blue would look the best

Also, the lighting show is bad. It is not a brown wood it is grey when the lights are on and windows are open

Check out the Etsy website, they offer a nice variety of the colors you’re looking for.

@bearbev I really love the blue striped pillow. Do you think it will look good with my patterned grey pillows or do I need solids since I already have a pattern

I think you might like a punch of color. Consider what colors will be in the rug too.

@Lawrence R are you looking for 3 large square pillows? What dimension would that be. I am not good at the new bed-dressing rules and have referred to this:

@Lawrence R is your bed king or queen or double. Sorry I can't tell. I found this searching with keyword "indigo". Just because you have one pattern doesn't mean you are forced to have solids. You just need to find a complementary pattern. And remember these will be behind the other layers of pillows.

@KL my bed is a queen. I was thinking about getting covers for these 3 20 x 20 pillows. What do you think about how the size looks. I would have two 16 x 16 pillows in front. Dimensions are in inches fyi

I love the first pillow KL posted. That would be divine on your bed!

Just to see sizes, would you put the two sleeping pillows in front of the three 20" square ones? Then add a single pillow in front of those?

For coastal I think I would keep it simple with the pillows and use shams that match your duvet. Clean, classic hotel chic.

@Lawrence R just to answer your question, yes those 3 pillows look like they fit perfectly for the back row. You can purchase just the covers. Are they about the same stuffing?

Oh I see you want your sleeping pillows in back, then the three 20" square pillows, then the two smaller square pillows. Well, I don't know, that might work too! ☺️ When I am new at something I tend to stick to a formula, but that doy mean it's the only way, right? Arrange all the pillows as you intend, and let's see how it looks.

In addition to pillow covers, I think the art should be framed in wood.
