Although the color of the nightstands and dresser look different in the photos , they are the same.

Consider selecting a yummy very tall padded headboard in a color that will work with your bedding....select the bedding first or go super neutral on headboard.

Given wall color, furniture and rug, I’d avoid white and more wood. Consider a cream padded headboard and bedding should pull together headboard and drapes. If needing help in that regard, can you provide a better picture of your drapery.

I would go for an upholstered simple headboard to soften up the space.

Get a neutral upholstered headboard and liven it up with colorful bedding. The dressers and night stands could be really pretty painted and updated with new hardware.

Thank you for all the wonderful ideas. Here is the master bedroom which it still need something above headboard. Would painting the headboard in a very light beige or an off white look good? I was thinking to try painting the headboard before buying an upholstered headboard. thank you for all suggestions.
