Nice group today, Nancy. RFK looks wonderful and that is a nice clump of buds. Black Fathom Depth is looking good. i plan t9o divide mine this fall along with a couple of others. Buddy's Black Eye is my pick today.

What has been your experience with Lincoln Andrea? It looks like a nice clean flower, and I suppose it gets more toothy later on. Lavender Cascades didn't grow here.

Buddy's Black Eye is looking good in your garden! I'm surprised to see Cobalt Rings already blooming for you. I don't think mine has even produced scapes this year. It looks like the heat has already faded some of your blooms. I'm glad Warm in Winter survived for you. Mine only has one scape with about four buds. I really need to move that one, but I just don't have a place.

I am loving Buddy's Black Eye too Kay! Mantis, Lincoln Andrea has grown very nicely here, 27" is probably right for the height. The blooms can be a bit splotchy, but seems to be getting better as it matures. I think I got it from Kate spring of 2020, so it is a nice clump so far. Toothy, well, sorta. It definitely can be better than you see it here, but you have to squinch your eyes to believe in teeth. At least I have not seen them yet. 2021 I counted between 12-18 buds per scape, not as good as hybridizer got, but good enough for me. I quite like it, but I do wish it were toothier.

Buddy's Black Eye is doing quite well, thank you for it! I love the look of it. I got Cobalt Rings in 2021, very small fans. Well, I think the largest was about the size of a pencil, and the smallest, well, I did not know they came that small. 5 fans, and all survived the winter, but only the largest one survived the drought and the winter. I guess it was in a hurry to bloom, or maybe this is left from last year? I only have the 1 scape too, with only 1 fan, but it has at least a dozen buds. I am just impressed that it survived the winter.

Born to Reign is my favorite here. I actually like your pic of RF Kennedy; I don't usually enjoy it.

I like your Born To Reign. It's at the top of my want list. Will be interested in how it does for you.........Green Mystique is a knock out. Makes me want to grow it again. Prelude to Panolopy is a sweet pastel color with a nice form. Buddy's Black Eye is appealing also.......Maryl

Brad, funny you said that. I have a daylily friend who visited my garden last year and said he had seen Rose in person in a couple other gardens and was not impressed, but looked better here. Maybe I have one daylily that really likes it here, LOL. I have always liked the look, but am getting over it. They have really used RFK a lot in breeding.

Maryl, I had Born to Reign for several years before, divided it to share, and it died. It took a while for me to get it again, and decided I liked it well enough to try again. So far it has done even better and the first time I had it. I love Green Mystique, a great daylily. Prelude to Panopoly is a lovely form with substance. It is an odd one that has more branching and buds this year than normal.

Nancy these are great. I like the pic showing some perennials (?) as a backdrop. Sets off the daylily bloom. RFK is really loaded with buds. Hope to see a pic of multiple blooms openng on it. Black Fathom Depths is what I called a quirky daylily when I had it in NY. I findi it one of those daylilies all about its planting location. Had it one spot and it didn't bloom much. Moved it and it took off.
