Great reno project. Look at those views. It looks as if this area of our home will be enjoyed throughout the year!

Your pictures do not show us what you did or what your frustration was before you did it. How about some from 10 feet out the front door facing the house.

Well, I meant to show the dry creek bed and shrub garden that replaced the gravel/paver mess but I certainly did not explain the many changes we made to the front, so I will try to explain further and add photos.

After: ripped off screen porch, built new porch across the front and wrapped around the corner, and built steps down to the paver patio.

Side before:

Side after: paved driveway, built and covered an Azek deck leading to mudroom door (which we use frequently as we come in from the barn). You can see the new porch that replaced the screened entry porch . We added half round gutters and rain chains on the porch and entry roofs, one leading to a rain barrel and one draining into the dry creek bed in front.

The front door had been enclosed in the screened porch.
