I think that product will give you less space. If you use it in the blind part of the cabinet, you'll have to unload the cabinet shelf to pull it out to use it. That's not for me.

My suggestion would be to find large rarely used items and put them in the blind area of the cabinet.

I don't really have help, just an add on comment/question....why don't they (or do they?) make the same type of nifty pullout for blind uppers as they do for blind lowers? Lee Valley carries a great one.

We have a blind upper. Luckily we have enough cabinet/pantry space that we don't need to keep anything in the back that we use regularly, and the "front" part of the cabinet isn't so full that we can't get tot he back when necessary.

Your best bet is to carefully analyze what is in that cabinet. Not used every day? Put it somewhere else. I like to think in terms of "prime real estate" for items used most often. Grouping what's in the cabinet in bins would also help.

Finally, can you add another shelf to that cabinet? If you put things of like height on each shelf, you don't have wasted space above things, and increase your storage by a whole shelf.

If the problem is that things get pushed back and lost, try inserting an empty cardboard box on each shelf to occupy the blind space. Or put the pieces of a china set you rarely use there.

If the bin is in the prime real estate area, it would be easy to pull it out to gain access to the blind area. Way easier than pulling out a bunch of individual things. Maybe a bigger bin would be even better.

I just noticed the wheels on the bin. I don’t think you would need those.

I think first step take everything out and only put back what you use daily in such a small space . Or as mentioned something you only use rarely. I think seeing this maybe a good purge of all the cabinets could yield some much better storage.I am a bit of a neat freak and I like cabinets to be oragnized and kept that way. I just reorganized a friends kitchen cabinets for her we gained so much space when like things are stored together and real thought is pput in to how you use the storage for ease of use. It is like purging the closet and you are left with only clothes you actually wear .

Thanks all. I utilized the bin with wheels and used some additional bins and added wheels to them and some without wheels. Overall the use of bins is what I have come up with for now for pulling things out in an easier way. I could probably use one more large on when I find one at Homegoods or something.

Lazy susans/turntables can be useful for a blind corner.

Getting your kitchen organized with friends is the best idea. When I moved to my current house, I was days ahead of my husband and the kitchen desperately needed to be unpacked. My realtor, her partner and I unpacked the kitchen. I have never changed where everything was placed that first time. I have refaced the kitchen - which required removing everything - and it all went back to the original plan.

Two or three heads are better than one. A full reassessment of your kitchen can be refreshing.
