You may not find an exact size match but the easiest dimension to “ give “ on is height, plus overall the other measurements may need to be at least 1” less to fit. Getting something DOWN from a high cubby is harder than a low cubby or an open high shelf. So you’re likely to have to go smaller and not have a tight “ magazine picture “ fit.

And you’re looking for rectangles. So if you search dimensions but under different products— don’t just think “ baskets” as though they will be custom sized cubby baskets and in photo- shoot materials. Try totes, storage containers, plastic, metal, wire , etc. Some of these could later be painted or covered.

The Container Store has a bazillion different rectangular containers but in all different “ departments “ so include closet, pantry, bath, toys etc. Also Office Depot type stores and Home Goods, At Home.

I take a tape measure with me everywhere because I’m always looking for something to fit.

Years ago, I had luck finding odd and specific basket sizes at The Basket Lady’s website.

Would you be open to adding doors to the top compartments? Then you wouldn't have to worry about trying to find baskets that fit.
