We are making some changes to our exterior after storm damage. I would like to change our existing lantern-style sconces as they are too small for the house: ~11"hx5.5"w for the lantern itself, 14-1/2"h with the hook, picture below (yes, I know the fluorescent bulb looks awful). What I'm trying to find is a fully enclosed lantern to keep wasps from building nests. I've found some I like only to discover they are open on bottom (I've also included photos of those). I was actually considering ordering the Bolton until an Amazon photo popped up on my search showing the open bottom (was not apparent in any of the other photos from the site I was planning to order from and the description did not say open). Has anyone run into this same problem? Had luck finding an enclosed lantern? I would rather not spend a fortune as I have 9 lights to replace, but am at the point of wondering if these even exist!
