Thanks for the feedback. This is actually located in the basement of the main house, so not sure how costly it would be to move the electrical. Any ideas what this runs typically?

Contact a licensed electrician for an estimate on moving the electrical panel. Ask for ideas about the other electrical work on the wall such as moving the dryer's electrical outlet, installing lighting over the washer/dryer, removing the phone connections and anything else you can think of. Many people paint the water pipes to match the wall. If you redo the drain outlet for the washer, you may have other options for a nice new laundry sink.

Are you planning to use the existing washer/dryer pair or replacing them? Reconfiguring their set up, perhaps moving the dryer much closer to its exhaust vent, is an option to consider.

Agree to get an estimate as a first step - you may be surprised how reasonable it is

FWIW we did a basement reno (pretty minor mostly cosmetic) and had an ungainly mass of electrical and HVAC returns/ducts that caused a lot of issues in one end of the room - i was nashing my teeth about how to concel it all — and the estimate to move/reroute the issues was less than $1k - changed the room entirely and was SO worth it
