Yes, there was a load bearing wall we removed. It takes planning and more planning to remove a load bearing wall. I start with a set of plans, engineering approval, city permit, and then having the crew to put the new beam in place. For this home we did a steel beam. We have completed a few of these jobs so we have the experience. I learned from helping somebody else before starting my own company.
