I just had it matched in BM Aura paint, because I much prefer BM. I tested a quart first and it was a very good match to my SW Snowbound sample board. I usually try not to color match between brands!

SW Alabaster is a beautiful warm white, BUT it does not look good against White Trim.

egg shell or flat Alabaster wall and ceiling, Alabaster in a satin sheen for trim.

You don't want Wool Skein in a south light room because of the yellow undertones.

Alabaster is a better choice, however, south light is going to bring out warm and creamy tones, which could show yellow. My suggestion for your home, based on what you are saying, B.M. Edgecomb Gray.

I do have another recommendation that I used in my front hall with south exposure. I would have no trouble running it through out the first floor, regardless of natural light. B.M. Gray Cashmere. It is definitely is a chameleon, some times it looks gray/blue (south light), sometimes gray/green (east light), sometimes gray (west light) and even north light, if you add some deep purple into the scheme. It will work well with extra white, blues and wood tones.

Art is showing colors I see in your home...black counters, blue chairs, and the faint back ground soft yellow of the fireplace.

I'm not fond of SW Alabaster. It is fantastic til it isn't...on my West facing windowsill it looks like very pale Mountain Dew.

Yikes! Thanks for the heads up, @tracefloyd. I’ve pretty much nixed Alabaster bc of everyone’s advice- I appreciate your input as well!
