If the wall cabinets are white and the island is blue you use all one top stone for the tops. If you want two stone top colors then the wall and island cabinets want to be the same color.

I'm assuming that she'll have a cooktop or sink on the perimeter. That's where the seam goes and it's almost invisible. I have a seam at my prep sink on my perimeter AND my cooktop. No one, including me notices and as I mentioned above, my quartzite is even busier.
