Maybe paint it with a finishing?

Not all engineered hardwood is the same. Large range in quality and durability depending on what you bought.

Maybe you want to share the manufacturer/brand, collection, model and color, so others who own the same brand can respond.

Some of the things you show look like damage during installation and while the house was being finished?

I have engineered european oak floors from DuChateau and don't have any of the problems you are experiencing. Our builder had the floors installed towards the end of the build and covered them for protection. My only issues was painters who did not cover the floors far out enough and we got some over-spray in a few areas, which had to be cleaned up.

This looks like the floor wasn't covered after it was installed and while they were still finishing up the house.

The floor marketing materials lack the info necessary to evaluate the quality. No actual species of oak. No thickness of the hardwood veneer layer. No info on the plywood underlayer. No thickness or specification about the finish. No grade for the hardwood veneer. So many 'nos' in this competitive marketplace points to slapping a Mohawk name on a Chinese manufactured product where the actual specifications can change with each shipment.

Unfortunately not that many happy people with this product. Didn't investigate further to see who runs this site. Always google with the word "complaints". This link didn't come up when I used the word "reviews".

I was on Mohawk's website & I echo the comments of @dan1888. From discussions here on houzz, I've learned a lot of specs to inquire about when shopping for engineered hardwood flooring. I wanted to review the specs of Mohawk's engineered hardwood flooring, but there was surprisingly little detail on the website. hmmm. . .

Just a little update on our flooring.
Its been 4 months since we moved in and we have been calling, messaging, filing complaints on warranty portal etc. The warranty manager initially used to respond but now he does not answer our phone calls, emails or messages. They charged us upwards of 35k for this inferior quality flooring. We have no clue how to get the builder to fix this problem. Any suggestions and advice are welcome! Thanks a lot!

Have a lawyer send a letter with your requirements. Good Luck.
