What Is Wrong With My Aloe Vera?

Hello everyone.

I posted here last year about aloe vera that I have been growing from one original plant for about eight years now.

I now have about twenty-five individual aloe veras and, since we are still to move into our new home, am just following the same routine that I have been all the time, which is putting them indoors where they get some light throughout Winter and putting them on our balcony in the Summer and watering them as and when they seem to need it (once every week to three weeks has always been roughly the need).

As mentioned they have always grown well and healthy like this producing a good rate of new plants. However this year as Summer began I put them out on the balcony as always and none of them have reacted well... all twenty odd plants although in separate pots and getting the same treatment as each other and as always, are looking either pale or too dark with brown parts and dying leaves.

I have attached some photos to see if anyone recognises what might be wrong with them... are they getting too little water? Maybe too much? It is very hot where I live at this time of year...

Thanks for the help!
