We have a long closet in our basement bathroom that I'd like to reconfigure. Storing things there is limited due to the dampness. Each end of the closet conceals something that needs to stay there: a standing pipe at one end and a sewer cleanout at the other. We'd like to turn the pipe end into a linen closet and add a cupboard at the cleanout end, both facing each other inside the closet. Any recommendations as to what this might look like and what can be done with the space between? I'd love the latter to be open to rest of the bathroom.
