a puzzling NOID

Dear friend of ours gave us a hosta a few years ago and as soon as I saw the label and was told it came from Wally World I knew I had a guessing game on my hands. The label identified it as plantaginea 'August Moon' and it was immediately clear to me the propagator had identification issues, after all 'August Moon' is a sieboldiana hybrid and yellow, this plant was blueish and nowhere near big enough for a sieboldiana hybrid. It's grown nicely, but it's about time to be able to put a proper label on it. It's an early bloomer, the scapes are dark, I'm hesitant to call them black, more like a dark maroon, flowers are fairly pale. Here's a series of pix, I welcome all suggestion for further investigation....
