When I initially met with the plumber, we decided only to drill one drain despite the drain having two drain holes. My understanding was we could still do the linear drain the whole length of the shower, even if there is only a single hole in the middle. The tiler dug a drain the whole length of the shower, thinking the drain would be that long, as I planned. But now, the tiler says no, I either have to give up on that plan, and have a centered drain, or redo the shower floor. We haven’t tiled the floor yet, only fiberglass, waterproofing, concrete- whatever is under there. What are my options?
