Did the rose come with the lattice because it’s a climber? It looks very much like Lady in Red

A lattice was there when we moved however I don’t think it’s a climber. (Still a rose newbie but I’ve since purchased a Pearly Gates climber and they don’t seem similar). Been using the lattice to tie some canes that protrude out onto the path however the canes are rigid and not very pliable. These aren’t traits of a climber, right? They do share some qualities to Lady in Red like the huge flowers and strong fragrance however.

I will try to get a closeup photo when the buds bloom again.

Veronica, if you moved into your new digs very recently, I think the bush could possibly be True Love, a Ping Lim rose. That's simply because the bush looks very young and the blooms fit. True Love is being heavily promoted these days....online sales in particular.

I dont remember Lady in Red being paticularly fragrant, but mine never grew to full maturity being zapped by my helper with RU. It does look likte it especially if itsan incredibly intense re that demeands all attention.

Updating with more photos in case this helps narrow down some of the suggestions. We’ve been having intense 90 degree days in the Southwest and its taking a toll on some of the buds.
