More blooms from up north.

I have do many daylilies getting started. In a way its a shame some of my lates think it’s time to get started. So many short scapes are a bummer.

First bloom on Green Eyed Envy is a bit pale, at least it is photo worthy.

Here Lies Butch is looking good this season, seems unaffected by the weird weather. I still hate the name.

I think Bluegrass Memories like its third spot in 3 or 4 seasons. It melted in all day sun, got moved to a shadier spot that didnt work. Now it has sun later in the day and seems happy.

Divine Design has finally settled in after my abuse. The whole plant is small but proportionate, lots of buds.

Happy Apache has more buds this season. Fans and scapes are shorter.

Stone Castle Divine looks great. It seems unaffected by the weather, big sturdy fans and good scape height.

Coast to Coast seems unaffected by the weird weather, lots of buds and good scape height. Not too bad for first bloom.

Gently Down the Stream always has nice blooms, never has had blemished blooms.

My first blooms on Entwined in the Vine, new to the garden.

Ciel D’Or is having a good season .

Bluegrass Memories is very pretty. I hope you've finally found its sweet spot. Gently Down the Stream is attractive, and I'm drawn to Ciel D'or - one I used to grow but gave away to make room for newer plants. Nice trio on Dancing With Giraffes.

Is that color typical on Coast? It's attractive, but not as much edge/base contrast as in some pics. I have tried now a few Evick cultivars. I don't know how he is viewed as a hybridizer.

Dances With Giraffes is impressive. EITV looks as though it bloomed big for you. Stone Castle Divine is so pretty. I agree about Here Lies Butch and the name. Mine did not scape this year. (I find myself saying that a lot!)

Coast usually has a much darker edge, will post more photos of it as the season goes. The color seems dependent on the temperature, it does very through the season.

Dancing with Giraffes sure does perform for you. It rocks!.....Happy Apache is an attention getter in your photo, and I like the colors on Stone Castle Devine too, although it is more subtle................Maryl

dancing with Giraffes looks really good. Ciel D’Or is lovely.Bluegrass Memories is pretty; I always liked that one and Entwined in the Vine is making a nice start. Nice post, Sherry.
