We only use this Lago flooring brand to flip houses because it's cheap. You pay for what you get, basically. Just don't expect much when it's start breaking down. If you're planning on putting this flooring's brand in your own home, I recommend spending a little more to get better brand.

Really "Business_Name_Placeholder" it is funny how you will not use your real name.

Our company has been in business for 42 years and I can prove you are wrong. If you are using cheap flooring, you must be purchasing it at one of the big box stores and NOT using Lago! We never had a problem with a Lago floor, in fact they have better options than other manufactures, like full one piece stair treads, instead of just a stair nosing that does not match, they offer a secondary pad to increase the IIC & STC sound rating that will not void their warranty. So please tell all of us what flooring manufacture you represent Mr. Placeholder?

Can you intall it in the bathroom? AquaPro is listed as 100% waterproof, but i am not sure if it’s true

@Serena Pureana Pu, A true test is simple as getting both a sample of the AquaPro and SPC and put them both in a bucket of water, there is where you will find your answer.

@beau i saw they have SPC Plus too. what’s your thought on that line?

My contractor (or his sub, unclear where the blame lies on this one) just surprised me by using Lago Smart Collection in our ADU instead of the engineered wood floor we have in our main house. I'm finding very little about their Smart Collection on the web compared to other products in the Lago lineup. Anybody have any details on this?

  • PRO

@Paul Marcos the Smart Collection is brand new, it is only a 6mm thick product with 12mil wear layer and is more of a budget item. We mostly sell the Lago 8.5mm with a 20 mil wear layer.

How about the Serene Oak #AQ507? What do you think of that product for beach front property? Also does it look seamless when installed?

  • PRO

@Mat Cassagne as with all planks you will see the the outline of the individual planks, see picture below. It is from the Aqua Pro "Max" collection and AQ507 planks are 6 feet long, 15mm thick and comes with a AC4 rating which are all positive numbers. As for a beach front property, the trend leans towards a more rustic look.

Did you know Lago Flooring makes full size stairs treads that can be used for that contemporary look or for a more modern look. Other companies only offer you a stair nosing and hoping that it will somewhat match their planks.

Below top step is BP904 Stellar full stair tread with a white stair riser and the bottom step is BP904 Stellar full stair tread with BP904 Stellar plank for the stair riser.

How have folks found this flooring hold up?

How does it feel under foot compared to hardwood?

How does it sound compared to hardwood?

@sara_848 the short answer is Hardwood does not come with a STC or a IIC sound rating, the Lago 900 series has a STS sound rating of 73 and an IIC rating of 75, it is waterproof and also comes with a commercial warranty, hardwood floors are not allowed to be used in Condos and some Town homes.
