We have a room that is above the garage (garage is not heated(talking second floor, Northeast Ohio). The floor is cold even tho we have a carpet lined. Right now we are planing to install (nailed) engineered hardwood floors. ✅1✅What should I do to keep the floor as warm as possible? ✅2✅ Will cork underpayment solve my problem? ✅3✅Will insulating garage door help?

Open to any other suggestions. Thanks
