Storage ideas?

I have something similar to this built as a side panel next to my refrigerator. The bottom portion is for my broom/ cleaning supplies exc. However I cannot find many storage ideas or just ideas in general to put in the upper cabinet circled in red. Any ideas?

Light bulbs. Batteries. Flashlight. Thermos. Softsided small coolers. Ice cream maker. Emergency candles. Flower vases. Economy size boxes of trash bags.

Cleaning supplies so it's your cleaning cabinet. Maybe in a nice tote or bucket for convenience.

Littlebug's suggestions are great. If the cabinet is too shallow for those types of items, you could make it a home-organizing station. Mount a pegboard for vertical storage of keys, pens, markers, etc.

How deep is it?

If that space is 12" deep, it's more valuable as pantry shelve storage top to bottom. Great visbility for all the cans, bottles and boxes/bags. Brooms can go is a closet near the entrance or mudroom.

Oh gosh, I forgot the A-Number-1 thing I would put there. My very favorite chocolate chip cookies I don’t want to share with anyone. Not even my spouse.
