The attached is a house plant, the tall, variegated plant with rounded thick leaves, which I repotted, adding the vine, and set out on the deck for the summer.

I need to know in order to understand why it has developed brown areas on some leaves. I believe it is due to being

set in bright sunlight all day, however, without knowing what the plant is, I can't really research the issue.
