I’m in Minnesota 4B. Last year I had one of these wasps digging under my steps. He wasn‘t aggressive and I read he was beneficial so I gardened in harmony with him, even though he made a mess. This year, I have two of them and was getting tired of all the digging, so last night my husband squirted some diatomaceous powder under the steps. Now this morning, instead of 2 I have 12 zooming around. It’s a little nerve wracking going on the steps, so I have to walk through the mulch up the hill. Any experts out there with advice?
