I would leave the view open right in front of the french doors ... then I would place a treadmill and some other gym equipment to the right side! Perfect gym with views, lots of light and AC!

Two large area rugs, not matching, just complimenting each other.

Create a seating/conversation area on the mini split side. everything position on the rug.

the other side a bench a long dresser or chest of drawers for storage and a coat rack or few hooks on the wall.

Love the treadmill idea - could also see fabulous armchairs for coffee or wine time or a great game table for friends (a puzzle table would be another option)

For starters a nice table set like what's pictured that can be seen from inside. Pretty much right outside the french doors. This is good even if you only use it for morning coffee.

Add loads of plants to make it cozy.

I agree that adding exterior landscaping would give something interesting to gaze at. You can add bird feeders to give you something else to look at.

That's a great space. I live on my glassed in air con sunporch.

I have a sofa, 2 reading chairs and a dining table (which is indoor/outdoor worthy)

I would not put a treadmill out there. You could end up cracking the floor, but also it will be unsuable for entertaining, and people will almost have to take turns using the room ( heavy workouts with sweat aren't going to make the room cozier)

Agree with loads of plants, which will also make you come out to visit more.

With those beautiful tile floors, it brings to mind plants...no worries about a little water splashing. An indoor Orangery to inspire the imagination. Nice with the color of the Saltillo.

Furnish it.........add a tv or you won't use it.

Lots of things will make it feel cozier: rug, warm lighting, comfy seating and cushions, plants, napping/reading area.

The first step is to consider what will bring you out there: dining/games table, tv, electric fireplace, entertaining and family needs, etc.

Then work on a floor plan, to help with size and placement of pieces. Last step is to decide on a feel and look at lots of inspiration photos to help. Having a plan will make buying easier and will result in a coordinated look.

IMO first gt some solar shades or all your money will go for AC the shades keep the heat and UV at bay and allow you to keep the view. I think we need a lot more info from you about how you imagine using the space . I would not do a workout space there but if that is what you need then go for it. I do not like sun rooms and for sure we need to see a floor plan to really undersatnd where this space is in realation to the rest of the house.

There is NO tv in my sunporch.

And I am in there anytime I am not in my office or cooking or cleaning etc.

Even if I wanted a TV in here (I'm sitting here now) there is so much light it would be hard to watch TV for all the glare. And I'm hardly going to put a TV in the window to block the views.

Not all the furniture in my sun porch gets hit by direct UV, and what does is outdoor-worthy, including the rug. I have no curtains or film or light blockers. Kind of defeats the point of a SUN porch.

How is this REMOTELY relevant?

Designers are in the business of elevating what someone ELSE has or likes, to a better, more functional, lovelier result. In the end, it matters not whether we favor a certain thing, any style. It matters not our own personal preference - be that 4000k lighting, solar shades, contemporary, or mid century styling, or counter top surfaces et all.

Our dislikes matter little. Traditional interiors, plantation shutters, warm lighting , quartz for counter tops or anything else!

The job is to take the preferences of another, and better the outcome. Sue me. I said it.

OP shared the dimensions of the space and included pictures that indicate location of the windows and doors (though not the measurements of those); it was enough for Jan to create a great floor plan of the space, showing furnishings. There are so many directions to go in here, depending on the family who lives here: playroom if young children (is that a high chair in the first pic?), game table/pool table/ping pong, perhaps if older children. Is there a dining space nearby, or would this be a great place for breakfast?

All of the shared photos of plant-filled, cozy seating areas and tables are beautiful, and look like wonderful suggestions for the OP...it all depends on how she wants to utilize this space. Right now, it is a blank slate, ready to be transformed into something wonderful. (I notice the backyard is pretty "blank-slatish" too...it definitely needs some plantings to make a lovely backdrop for the sunroom. How is the backyard used? That might help to identify a direction for the sunroom, too.

I agree with Jan, it's the OP's space and it doesn't matter if you like it or not. It also doesn't matter what colors you like or don't like.

I think the OP needs to provide more information. What do you envision using the space for ? Do you want a dining area, or just a place to sit and relax, or both ? Cozy to me is a plush, comfortable seating area, tables to set a drink and/or food on, and lots of plants like Maureen described, but it may mean something different to the OP.
