How many sink straps needed?

How many sink straps would I use to install a 39" stainless steel undermount sink? And would I attach the straps to the sides of the cabinet (42" cab) or to the back and front rails? The drain is on the left side but centered front to back.

I'd use two straps going side to side in your situation. We've installed thousands of these.

I’m sorry to ask another question! I just received the sinkit sink straps and realized my sink is too long for a single strap to reach across it and that for large sinks they recommend combining straps. So now my questions is when you said use 2 sink straps, did you mean combine them to make one longer strap? Or does my sink need to be strapped twice, in front of and behind the drain, for a total of 4 Sinkits sink straps? Sorry for the newbie question!

Simply run the two straps front to back please.
