Need help with golf simulator railing

We have sunken golf simulator in basement with 3-4 stairs leading down. we need railing along ledge, and Id love to do something see through to watch from chairs. Is there a type of glass or glass like product that would be safe? Im up for other fashionable suggestions as well.
