What factory? In other words, what brand? Not all are creted equal. Lower end products use lower end finishes. Also, I don't see how you get those substances on your cabinets if you have a proper counter overhang protecting them.

We have children, so they get a splash or finger mark here and there by the garbage, sink, silverware drawer, etc. Believe counters are fine.

Ultracraft has tons of materials, from foils, to laminates, to acrylics to actual opaque "paint". Which do you have? What is your measured counter overhang?

We’ve had ikea in our last couple of kitchens and they are pretty bulletproof- vinegar and a microfiber cloth take of most things. For the occasional red dice stain we found spray and wash took it right out. We were desperate and it worked like a charm

Counter appears to be a 1 inch overhang.

I use Doozy pre-cleaner to wipe down my cabinets. Don't know if it's good at removing stains but might be worth a try.

1 1/2" is industry standard, so your less than industry standard is contributing to the cabinets becoming soiled. But, any oxygen bleach and mild detergent like Dawn, with a microfiber, should work for cleanup. Followed by a rinse with a clean water dampened microfiber.

For most everyday care, cabinets should be dry dusted, your ventilation fan turned on before you cook, and only wipe down with wet cloths as actual physical deposits are made. Avoid using any "care" products contaning oils or abrasives. No magic erasers. They are sandpaper.

Cabinets are fine furniture for your food prep room. They should be treated with the same care and respect as you would treat grandmother's buffet in the dining room.

I am all for getting kids involved in the kitchen as soon as possible. But dirty hands should be washed before they touch the cabinets, or food, or sit down to eat. Even if that means multiple times. Soap and water access is the most important kitchen ingredient. Have the kids learn good handwashing habits early.

@DeWayne guess they cut corners with our overhang which does not surprise us.

I called and asked for confirmation and they ’lost’ the template/paperwork.

We have tried the Dawn dish soap and water as well as baking soda and water, and does not work. Have not tried oxygen bleach with the Dawn. Thx

My husband decided that soft scrub with bleach was a good idea to clean the staining on the trash drawer on our white painted kitchen cabinetry! Finish permanently ruined....Ugggg.

I've seen some suggestions online to add a bit of vinegar to either the warm water and dawn, or water with baking soda mixture. I would try that on an inside painted surface first to make sure it doesn't damage the finish.
