I should try some Pearce cultivars. I see other good reviews of Sailor Sky. Megatron and Trance are also good cultivars. Your later-blooming allium is a great addition to the garden.

It's nice that you still have some just starting to bloom. Sailor Sky always seems like a nice late for you. I had a lot of canoeing on daylilies in June when the temps were cooler. Are you having the cooler night temps right now? Usually when Laura Harwood blooms, it's very hot. Do you like the allium? I ordered that once once, but ended up never planting it.

Laura Harwood is the only daylily I have that canoes. Last evening was the first cool evening in a week. We were in the mid 90’s during the day and 80 at night, humid as heck. I think we borrowed Kate and Kay’s weather.

I love the Millenium variety, supposedly it is sterile and I have had no problem with unwanted seedlings. Some varieties of allium seed everywhere, a real pain to control. Another bonus for me is the rabbits have left it alone.

Wow 10 inches! And Megatron is very pretty. Trance looking good. Sailor Sky makes a nice bright clump. I was wondering if it's usual for you to have them start blooming at the end of July? My lates start mid July, and I only have a couple that start on or after July 20 and considered very late (Final Touch for example).

Sailor sky always blooms into August, usually starts the last week in July. Final Youch has scapes but wont bloom for at least 2 weeks. My latest is Olfactory Evidence, it starts in September…….it is a pretty yellow bloom.

Wow, I do like Sailor Sky! A real beauty! I got rid of my list but this has caused me to make a new one.

Of course Laura Harwood looks good!

Megatron is nice too.
