Same as above. They are folded clean for the linen closet, but I do have two glass shelves in one bathroom where I roll the towels to be used next. In the primary bath they are folded and in drawers. Guest bath, folded with some left on the vanity. I should wash those, they are probably dusty. We've had overnight guests very infrequently per Covid ;)

I've barely reached the point where I've trained DH to fold towels correctly. (he'll often fold clean laundry). I don't know if I could talk him into rolling all.

I do a specific fold to fit on the pull outs under the vanity sinks.

Fold. I do not have towels on display other than those in use hanging on hooks.

I fold bath towels and roll hand towels so the hand towels will fit in a narrow space next to the wash cloths.

Hmmm, seems most of you are folders not rollers. Maybe I'll re-visit folding to see how much space it saves. The cabinet I store the bath towels in is under the sink with the drain right smack in the middle, so IDK if folding will work well but wouldn't hurt to try. Folding has got to be faster than rolling when taking out of the dryer.

We simplified! I wash the towels and hang them right back up. I keep an extra towel in our bathroom, that rotates in while the rest are in the wash, so that if DH takes a shower he doesn’t have to air-dry lol.

For the rest of the towels, they are folded. I used to roll the beach towels and keep them on end in a laundry basket, but that has gone by the wayside, now they are folded.

In half lengthwise, then in half again twice cross-wise. Boom! Done! Nothing fancy-schmancy. Towel folding is not a form of relaxation as it seems to be for some yoo-tuubers, it's a job to get done as quickly as possible. LOL!

That’s part of the reason we do ”wash, dry, hang”! (bath towels: fold in half long way, hang. hand towels: fold in thirds, hang.)

I ”play” with differeent folds for different towels going different places. I actually do find it kinda fun! Not making any towel swans or the like, though, à la cruise ships.

To each his own. I'm a folder. Apparently I don't fold correctly. I fold in half and fold that in half again.

In this current home there is no where for towel racks in the primary bath. So, we installed hooks on the walls and hang our big towels. For hand towels I use suction hooks on our huge to ceiling wall mirrors.

All other towels are folded and placed in the linen closet.

I have a deceased relative that ironed and folded her towels before putting them in the linen closet. You should have seen her linen closet. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. When you opened it the angels sang. When we were staying in her home as guests, I showed to my MIL. Even she balked at such beauty. We closed the door, looked at each other and she said, not ever going to happen in my house:)

There is no correct or incorrect way to fold towels! (I just like them somewhat tidy, not bunched up and higglety-pigglety on the bar or hook.)

I took a poll in third world countries and they all go with folding their bath towels... ;-)

I fold fancy for the guest bath only. Those (bath and face towels) are laid flat, outer thirds folded over from each side lengthwise. Then in half twice. Some of those are monogrammed and I want the letters centered when hung from the towel bars. So do all for that room the same.

I do not bother in either of the other baths, only guests get the bit of extra effort ;)

We house sat for family out of town while we were having a remodel done one year, stayed a month. I reorganized her substantial linen closet to be helpful. Beach towels together, all folded neatly, bath towels organized by brands and color coordinated. She was so appreciative she was close to tears. I did the same for the linen closet that was bedding. (my own didn't look nearly that good but she didn't need to know that)

Towels in use are hung on hooks. Towels in storage are folded in the way that fits best in the vanity cabinet under the sink. I hold the towel up by the short end and fold each side in, so it’s folded in thirds. Then I lay the long folded towel on the guest bed and fold each end into the center, then fold in half. So folded in thirds one way, fourths the other way. No raw edges show, and these stack most neatly. Large bath sheets down fit well under the sinks, so those go in the linen closet.

Suzanne, I started folding my towels that way, too, a few years ago. Bath towels fit perfectly and take up less length space in the overhead cabinet. I also fold some bed and table linens that way, too. It makes for a very tidy packet.

Yes, bpath, I also fold quite a few things that way! I have also figured out how specific types of kitchen towels can be folded in order to better fit the drawer. I am the only one in the house who can fold towels LOL

For me, rolling towels works well to store them neatly and compactly in cupboards or on shelves.
