Right now the plants are small so it looks bare. The question is, will you like it when the plants mature? Here's a visual of that (can't tell what the tall evergreen on the corner is, so that's a guess):

If this look is too monochrome (the Fire Chief arborvitae and the heuchera are very similar in color), or the row of three round shrubs is too straight-line, some variety of shape and color could be introduced now or later. (I don't know where you are or which way the house faces, so these specific plants might not work. This shows a coral-flowering evergreen azalea in the middle and a coral-pink dianthus by the steps; they would bloom at different times. Ninebark Summer Wine and green mondo grass are on the left.)

@simplynatural I like it in the mature version. Thank you for doing that. It's not the monochrome part of it. It was my shape of my landscape being a straight line in the front. Does that part look ok? That's a hinoki cypress dwarf at the corner. I know I could have done so much more to make it better but I have made some decisions about life balance, so I wanted to keep it simple.

Found a different picture of the Fire Chief arborvitae that relates better to your brick. (Photos on the internet vary greatly in color; no telling what the plant actually looks like!) I see a bit of curve to your bed, so I think it's fine. The edge can always be tweaked as the plants grow.

Couldn't resist adding a few flowers, though. I don't do anything to my dianthus, usually never get around to clipping off the spent flowers, and it handles my neglect just fine (unlike my heuchera, which doesn't seem to like me).
