You must be in FL! While building our house, we rented a house with this exact bathroom layout! Many homeowners in my area are gutting these bathrooms completely and rearranging the fixtures.

Why don’t you do something like this? It’s just an applied graphic by a glass tinting company. They can take any graphic and size it to your glass. I did this on the door to my laundry room and it’s held up beautifully. (Not my bathroom)

Thanks for all the replies and ideas. Thought briefly about keeping the mermaid for sentimental value, but alas, decided it was to old school. I do like the etched glass look above. Especially if it's an easy application.
