I would use a different wall if it were my home.

My best advice is to place the tv somewhere else. You would have to have extra long door stops to prevent the tv from being hit by both doors. Also, most people don't close their bedroom doors all the time. You would have to close your bedroom door any time you watch tv.

Is it perhaps possible to have one set of doors become bifold and the other door hinge on the other side? Just an average homeowner with no professional experience here, so please don’t attack my thought/question pros.

Consider not having a TV in the bedroom. Bedrooms are for sleeping and watching television in bed is really bad for sleep hygiene. In addition the are so very ugly

Show us the whole room and at least where those doors lead too.. I happen to not like TV in bedrooms so maybe a bit more info too.

Taking it at face value that this is the best spot for the tv, I see no issue. The left door appears to be a closet door, and the right appears to be the entrance. The only concern is someone opening the door too hard/ fast so I would probably just belt and suspender it- door stop on the hinge and baseboard for instance. You don't want to buy a new tv because your housemate decides to barge in too fast.

There are often not great places for TVs in houses not designed with specific spots for wall hung TVs. Two of my family members who live in narrow row houses have their TVs on the wall right inside the front door between the front door and the steps. For one of them, the front door almost touches the TV. But the front door is never left open.

If you put it on the larger blank wall in either house, which would seem to make sense, it would be behind the furniture and you could not watch it.

Sometimes you have to make do.

And some people watch TV in bed.

Something like a Samsung The Frame TV has a very slim profile, slim brackets and hangs very close to the wall, taking up no more room than a piece of art. The only issue is that this hanging method does not allow you to extend, swivel or tilt the screen, so only you can decide if a fixed hanging position will work for this space. My large Frame TV sticks out 1- 1/8".

Any articulating TV bracket will cause the TV to sit a lot further out ... unless you had the wall space to recess the bracket into the wall, which I have done before too.

Look into Ghostop and Fantom (two different companies) door stops if you want your stops to be less obtrusive and less likely to be a tripping hazard. I have Ghostop stops and I love them.

It might be a good idea to look and see if there is another wall in your current space that can handle a wall mounted TV.
