I've found Lutron LED+ dimmers to be most compatible.

• You must be sure that the light or bulb is actually dimmable.
• If the powder room lights are not too bright when on full, I'd skip the dimmer.
• These dimmers do not require a neutral wire as many dimmers do.
• Maestro dimmers have the most features but some lights and bulbs use so little power that the dimmer must include a physical switch such as the Diva or Skylark.
• If you have a 3-way circuit, the other control must be a compatible switch, not a dimmer (see the instructions).
