Hello iwojima219,

Do you like looking at either of these finishes?

If not, remove the one you like the least and stick with the one you enjoy seeing each time you enter the room. There are no rules regarding which to keep and which to eliminate and certainly no rules regarding making them all match. In fact, it may be a bit overwhelming to have both ceiling and walls match in texture, even if the texture is slight.

Best of luck with your decorating and please let us know if we can be of any assistance,

Hi Elizabeth:

Should I be concerned that the great room ceiling is brocade but the kitchen is orange peel and they are right next to each other and visible when you walk through the door.

Thank You.
