We just had our roof done , and where they did the roof vent, it's vented on both sides of roof, flat in the middle, when asked, he replied give it a sunny day to flatten down. I didn't think this was a normal answer to what I'm looking at. Later, the roofer boss tells us there was a issue where the addition was abutted to the original part of house, it was there where they couldn't put the vent? It's shingled over in the middle of the roof. Is this a normal thing for them to have done in these circumstances? It doesn't look right. I'm the one upset, husband not too much, but I think they could have mentioned it to us when they came upon it. Thanks for help.
