Harlow Cambria/Tile Backsplash

Hi All,

Wondering if you have suggestions for a tile backsplash for our kitchen that would coordinate well with Cambria Harlow countertops, chantily lace kitchen surround cabinet color, quarter sawn oak natural finish island and natural finish hardwood white oak flooring. We plan to backsplash the entire wall so was maybe wondering if white would be the least overbearing given the bold counter. Also have cabinets on a sink side and refrigerator size. Black window frames. Also considering Harlow only for island and perhaps a white countertop surround (extreme white zeus Silestone), and if we went that route I think a light grey would definitely be warranted to break up all the white. Thanks in advance for your expertise and suggestions! Much appreciated!

I'd take the slab up the walls, no matter which one you choose.

I would wait until all is in to decide on a backsplash as it will all tie together different place with the lighting, etc.

IMO wall color, backsplash and pulls are best chosen after the cabinets and counters are installed. I think a simple gray glass large format subway style tile with matching grout is the best with that very busy counter Make sure all the lighting is the same I like LED 4000K but 3500K is okay but all the same

Agree you should wait till the cabs and tops are installed but it doesn't hurt to start gathering ideas! I would suggest a zellige or that look that pulls tones from the greys and creams from the countertops but subtle so it doesn't compete with the countertops.
