These are a few bedroom photos I've saved for inspiration.

I love the interior designer Erin Gates. Her mood board for her new primary bedroom is gorgeous. The wall color is way darker than I would have ever picked but I can see how she will bring it together to feel cozy and serene, not dark/cold:

when you say Wall Moulding, what kind? a Board & Batten? a picture fram moulding panel?

diagonal? I personally think accent walls are best used on solid walls... not to mention easier to install.

Nothing wrong with placing a bed in front of a window.

even in the center of the room with a footboard and a slim table or dresser at the head to create a focal divider. Lots of options. just need more clarification for specific ideas.

I think I would place the bed opposite the closet door, centered on the window.

I love the molding in the comment above, I guess that would be more picture frame style?

Also, our bed is currently front of the other window (facing the door) and we’re thinking about putting two large rectangular moldings on either side of the window.

Since you have that great sitting area is angling the bed from the corner between the 2 windows an option? I can’t judge the wall length or bed size but looks like a long room from pic

It makes more sense to be in front of the other window since that window is slightly smaller & looks like it’s centered on the wall so easier to balance. I don’t think bed in front of window will affect wall molding - but - I do think that might be a lot going on in the room especially if you have drapes & more & larger furniture than the pic you posted. Would be helpful to see your room as is now.

I can’t believe I’m posting this photo to the internet 😆 Disclaimer: We are planning to paint the room this week so we don’t have window treatments up, this furniture is not staying either and that light fixture will be replaced!

Kathryn, We do not judge!! If our spaces were perfect for our liking, we wouldn’t have any problems to post! 😄 Thanks for being brave & posting - your bed looks great in that spot & I think the wall molding trim will also look great as you have taped it out. Too bad you don’t like the chandelier - I kind of do, especially if you’re changing out the bed frame style.

I'd try the bed at an angle across the corner between the two windows.
