I’d be not only disappointed but also angry. Too much money spent to have an appliance crap out so quickly. And it’s awful that GE has handled an obvious lemon situation so poorly. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this.

I know all brands have lemons and common issues. We’ve had a Kitchenaid dual fuel range for almost 20 years and it has finish problems where the clear coat has worn off the stainless steel in areas. It’s a bit unsightly but at least it works really well. I anticipate replacing it in the next 5 years and due to experiences like yours, am not certain what direction we’ll take.
