Please share recommendations for light engineered wood flooring!

We’re ISO light-medium engineered wood flooring recommendations for our colonial ranch home on the coast. The kitchen has white shaker cabinets and we want to keep this light and bright look throughout the home with hardwood flooring and paint. Does anyone have light hardwood that they absolutely love and would install again without hesitation? Brand and name of flooring that you used would be most helpful. THANK YOU!

The wood to look for is white oak and a clear finish no stain. As for brand that I am not going to name becuase you are in the US and I am in Canada so very differnt sources.

Don't look for white oak Quercus Alba, or north American white oak in engineered flooring. It has an open grain that darkens from stain and a yellow cast to the tone. What you can find now is European Oak, Quercus Robur from almost everyone in engineered wide plank flooring. It's denser than NA white oak without the open grain. Not as yellow. Popular.

The first is from Hurst Hardwoods and the last 2 from Monarch Plank. Unfinished. But there are Chinese products using Siberian Oak from Russia as well as other of the 300 species of Oak.

Here are a few things you want to make decision first before searching, they will help to narrow down your choices quickly.

Width of the board

Total thickness and real hard wood thickness.

Grade of the wood(amount of natural wood characters)

Installation method

Warm or cool tone

Etc.

I just installed LLFlooring White Birch in a prime suite. Love it. I wanted something that would really lighten up the space... found it!
