My living room is used for lots of seating and family/guests. I find the layout works for that but the focal point should be fireplace and it’s not. I can’t get rid of the couches bc they seat so many but they don’t fit across from one another flanking the fireplace bc they cut off the dining room or there’s not enough space where the wall is to walk past. Any creative suggestions? If I ended up getting new furniture, why would you recommend that would still allow a lot of seats and be somewhat formal I don’t wanna sectional.
