White flies or lawn moths? Can we please see pics of both the insects in question and the lawn issues. Correct identification can make a big difference in treatment.

ok. will try to post pics tomorrow. I will say they are super tiny and white. They are also attacking my mint plant. I am in PNW if that helps.

I'm not seeing them today. Not sure if it's because the sun isn't out and it's cooler. But when I looked them up online I think it might be lawn moths. they're small but they're not tiny little specks. I do however think I have a Whiteflies on my mint plant as those are really tiny specs. Sprayed the hell out of that with neem oil yesterday. We'll see what happens there.

Are they doing any harm? I see white flies when I mow, but the lawn looks fine. I realize my white flies are likely much different from yours, but if yours are not causing a problem, I'd ignore them.

Well I have bald spots in my lawn, and I've heard that pests can be a cause. It started with one bald spot and then several more appeared all over my lawn. I also read that fungus can be a problem.

I am in Portland Or. No dogs or pets. No idea what kind of grass since I didn't plant it.
