I would be hesitant to add yet another piece of furniture along the wall such as a TV stand. Perhaps if you switch the mirrored chest and use the smaller chest for the TV.

The octogon table would make a nice plant stand.

I would not recommend a wall mount TV in a bedroom in case you change your mind about having a TV in there.

I love your two blue prints....hang them in the bedroom and add a third one.

The desk is black/espresso? You could chalk paint it white.

Same with the bench...too different a style...try a blue throw over it.

I don't see the headboard.

I love everything else in the room indluding the paint...just lovely.

Move the dresser that is beside the bed to the wall to the right of the bathroom door. Get a proper height night stand for beside the bed, Move the TV to the dresser that is to the left of the bathroom door. Move the floor mirror to the corner near the slider. Get a chair for that corner also

Hang the art work. A blue throw on the bed would add some nice color

Thé sliders are going under the furniture and we are shuffling. DH is not loving painting the desk (I do), but he may come around. Too much brown furniture for sure.

Layer lighting...a floor lamp or up light and table lamps etc. Plug in sconces. Get dimmable warm toned bulbs and use dimmer switches.

A pretty picture hung over a bureau with a table lamp to illuminate it is quite nice.

I think I’m making progress. We may live with this a while before bringing in a chair and new night stand. May make pillows with the fabric on the bench. The headboard is boring grey. Hey, it was in style when I bought it.

OMG what a difference a few subtle changes can make....so calm and serene now. I'm so pleased.

The gray headboard now that we can see is gorgeous...it's neutral and looks cozy and ties in the gray of the rug and octagon table which makes a great nightstand.. Your mid-gray is a nice neutral in here.

And the nice silver lamp I did not see before either and now the gray and chrome bench is not so out of place.

Do you like that tablecloth tossed over the bench? I do. I know it's a placeholder but somehow bringing in a different shade of blue is daring and I always like daring choices. Oops I just read you're making pillows...cool.

On a side note--the spiky wall art over the bed bothers me, I would swap it for a woven piece...also because I live in earthquake country lol.
